About The Book

This book is a whimsical tale about Doggy and Kitty musicians who get together for
a parade. The book comes with a catchy march song version of the book on a CD, so
children can read, sing, dance and march along. The story/song begins on “a day
that heaven had made”-a fine day for a parade, and ends with an evening full of
music. “They played them that tune, under the moon, to ease them on their way.”
This song/book was inspired by our love of children, animals, music and an abiding
desire for peace on earth. The common element is music that contributes toward
peace between different types, represented by the doggies and kitties. The story
is simple and the message is clear: Peace is possible. The song/book is best suited
for ages 1-9, but adults love the song/book as well. It is very uplifting.
