Mark Jackson currently lives in Eugene,OR., and has always been interested in music. He played the trombone in several marching bands, including a Navy band during the 70’s. He has been writing songs for two decades, and this is his first children’s song/book. He now is the owner of Blue Skye Music Company, a songwriting business. He has a son Robin, who is an outstanding saxophone player and is in two successful bands in Portland, OR. Kay King is a retired teacher, mother, and illustrator. She is a woman of enormous talent for imaginative and beautiful illustrations. She received her art degree at Seton Hill University. Sweetie, her cat, is sleeping on the rocker on page 3 of the book. This is her fourth children’s book. Blue Skye Music Company-The Band is a group of friends who have enjoyed singing and playing music together for several years.
